I explored proportion and size and how it relates to size. Proportion is what really aligns everything and makes it realistic. Proportion is crucial when, for example, drawing a portrait. Making sure the eyes, ears, nose and mouth are all proportionate is vital. Scale seems to be the distortion of size, such as a tiny head on a giant body, or huge lady towering Times Square.
