Lesson 3

I chose to explore the contrast between appropriation art and iconoclasm. Iconoclasm seems to have a deep meaning, representing something of importance, like the cross or the star of David. Iconoclasm seems more biblical and meaningful while appropriation seems more modern. Appropriation seems to be putting more modern images in place of famous artworks, etc. The tone of the two seem to be what's contrasting.
